And the winner is… Emma Russell Photography!
There is now only one spot up for grabs in our 2014 Picture of the Year competition, after this beautiful picture by Emma Russell Photography was voted our November 2014 Picture of the Month. Our congratulations go to Emma, who told us a little about the picture…
“The couple are actually very good friends of ours, Chris and Sam. Chris and my husband have been best friends since they were children and my husband Rob was best man on the day (so no pressure on the day with Rob doing the speech and me the photography!). They chose to get married at their favourite hotel, Raymond Blanc’s magical Le Manoir Aux Quat’Saisons in Oxfordshire. It was a very intimate wedding with just close friends and family, back in May 2013.
“There are so many beautiful places to capture couple portraits at Le Manoir (it’s heaven for a photographer!) but I chose this spot as, not only is it beautiful, but it also offers a couple the chance to be on their own, giving them space and time to be together on such an important day. In the lead up to their wedding Chris and Sam had described how they wanted their wedding to have an elegant and timeless feel, so I kept this in mind whilst deciding where the perfect backdrop would be.”
