And the winner is… Karli Harrison Photography!
Congratulations to Karli Harrison Photography, the winner of our July Picture of the Day competition. This beautiful picture received the most votes in our poll, and becomes the 7th picture to go through to our Picture of the Year vote.
The picture was taken before Claire and Roger’s wedding at Northop Hall Country House Hotel in Chester, and we asked Karli to tell us a little bit about how the picture came about.
“Claire and Roger’s wedding took place on 23rd June at the picturesque Northop Hall Country House Hotel, Chester. During the bridal preparations, I noticed how lovely the window looked in the bridal suite; grand curtains with a beautiful chandelier in the foreground. As soon as I saw Claire’s dress, I knew this picture would be the shot of the day. Not only does this picture show off the stunning detail in the design of her gown, but to me, it represents some of the factors that make wedding days so very special – a beautiful bride, the excitement, the slight trepidation of what the day will bring and the hope of a bright new future ahead for her and her husband.
