Why did you have an engagement shoot?
“Having an engagement shoot provided us with the opportunity to get to know Harriett and her camera before the big day! I rarely get in front of the lens so it was great to have the chance to ‘practice’ and immediately be put at ease by Harriett!
“The engagement shoot was such a success; Sam and I both felt it captured the essence of fun and colour, and the relaxed vibe of our relationship perfectly!”
How do you feel that having an engagement shoot helped with having your wedding pictures taken?
“I guess a true reflection of our relationship with Harriett is when a wedding guest commented that we are so lucky to have a friend who could be our wedding photographer. Honestly, Harriett just became another guest — this is largely due to the time we had spent together on the engagement shoot.”
Which is your favourite picture?
“After laughter, jumping, throwing and generally having fun, my favourite shot from the engagement shoot is Sam and I laying down looking into each other’s eyes — a moment to reflect with each other in amongst all the colourful chaos. Fantastic memories, colourfully captured, treasured forever.”
