Why did you have an engagement shoot?
“We decided to have an engagement shoot for a couple of reasons. One, David and I don’t have a lot of experience in front of the camera (especially together), so we thought it would be the perfect opportunity to practice before the big day. Two, it’s been great to have these photos throughout our wedding planning process for the wedding website, guest book, and save-the-date!”
How do you feel that having an engagement shoot will help with having your wedding pictures taken?
“I already know it has helped us tremendously. At the beginning of the shoot we were a little nervous; we didn’t know how to pose and act “natural”. But Nick’s amazing direction and his overall easygoing and laid-back personality made us feel super-comfortable; I think it’s so important to have a photographer who you’re comfortable with. We are so excited about our wedding pictures now that we’re total pros!”
Which is your favourite picture?
“My favourite picture is the one of us on the bridge where David is picking me up and a rainbow comes into frame. David’s favourite picture is the one of us in the boat with confetti all around.”
